I read his posts and met him, you are right on both counts LOL.

He's a good guy and I'm glad the pool world has him, although I'll still argue with him about jump sticks for hours.

But then again I get along with Mike Dechaine too so who knows about my taste in people :wink:

You're exactly right. Wife and I were both busy this Memorial Day & seemed like a normal weekend to us. I own 3 JB's now & have communicated with John before about a shoulder strap that my dog chewed up. Nothing but +++'s for John & JB Cases, thanks for reminding me!

Because if I were to order a case from you I would prefer you didn't just
feel free to drop my name in public like that or show the case off on You Tube.

I'm very interested in a case from you and it'll be an all leather case.

Rather expensive, compared to the prices on your page it'll be well up there.
So maybe there might be some things on it that you might like to show
on your website but if I were to put a name on the case I would prefer
you not show it.
Also not to use my name here in a public forum, even if you obviously got to know it.

Hey Icon .. how do you like that top handle? All my cases are the hard ones, and I pretty much /have/ to have a top handle. On the butterfly you got - is it comfortable?

Q2: I have (but no longer use) an Elite with a "magnetic pocket". I hated that it would pop open with the slightest little bump. Do John's seem to stay pretty secure? Wish I could see (rather handle) some of these cases before I bought any more. I do like the 2 I have though ... just that if I would order one of those leather ones in a few months - I'd like to MAKE SURE ... cause that's a few bucks to plop down.

We build our own magnetic latches with lots of Earth magnets. Most others use the weak purse magnets. Ours stay closed until you deliberately open them.

Nice

It's always nice to see nice reviews about people making good products and just as importantly, do business the right way with good customer service and delivering properly. Seems most times, we read about people (usually cuemakers) who don't respond or don't treat customers right after they get the money. I don't know JB personally, but kudos to you for being a standup guy in your business dealings. Another person that comes to mind in this vein would be Pat Fleming with Accu-Stats. Always a pleasure in dealing with him.

As in, there is no internet privacy? Often enough, even with just a screen name, you can find that screen name used in other places where the real name is also showing up. The biggest issue is not having your name out there, is your phone and email. That is where you get spammed to hell with calls about solar panels, security systems, free vacations, etc...

Billrdlover34 on here could be billrdlover34 on ebay or on some other forum, then you just need a hop or so to find out the name based on location they list, where they work, pictures they post of them in a pool hall, etc...
