The 2017 West Coast Swing!

It just ended two minutes ago. Shaw beat Alex 13-12. Alex was on the hill up 12-11 and ran down to the 9 with perfect shape to come up table for the 10, but, amazingly, overcut the 9.

Thanks for that. Don't think for a second you will ever see Wu do anything like that.

Can we assume that was sarcastic?
Alex broke well but kept squandering his lead with mistakes. Didn't play that good.

Alex made a ball on all 12 of his breaks (but he scratched on one of them).

Jayson made a ball on 7 of his 13 breaks (6 dry, including one scratch).

More like realistic. You won't watch a match where Wu makes many (if any) mistakes. I've seen him destroy good players. You will have to play real good to win a match against this guy. And they all know it! ;)
I would bet if you took a poll of the 100 best International players and asked them who is the player they would least like to draw, Wu would finish on top.

Alex used to be like that. He just turned 39 I hope that's not his problem.
Mind you Dennis 38 and still one the best right now. Hes favored against Chohan because he is Wu like and doesnt miss.

Maybe Alex is playing bad against Jason because of the missed 9 at the Masters.
Those 2 were supposed to play 9 ball to 100 for 100k.
Hope that still happens if Alex can shake off the demons:cool:

Alex's game seems to have leveled off since he took up Snooker for a year or two. He is still a great player, but maybe not as dominant as he once was. That said I would be hard pressed to bet against him a gambling match. He's still Tier One in the Philippines. Maybe only four or five players have that designation in a country full of good players. The Tier Two players come over here and clean up.

Easy, and he had perfect shape
Jason

Pretty much Like Chip Compton's 8 ball miss to get on the hill... very Simple shot he just lost momentary focus.. and lost the match. I hate to see these kinds of errors. Chip was going thru the field too.

Strange one-pocket tournament....Pagulayan lost.....to Pagulayan...

Can you find a direct link to the bracket so it doesn't have to be navigated in that tiny window?

Challonge.com has a terrible name but their brackets are very nice.

Nope. I tried to find it directly on Challonge, but could not.
