See? Gareth Potts doesn't do it.

No diamonds or diamond system necessary...no laying his cue on the table to measure the angles...no marking the rails with chalk. He just visualized the shot...the way pool was meant to be played.

Is it just possible that you're letting your passion for a certain process, idea, or procedure override your objectivity and abstract reasoning?
Come on, man, how about some live and let live?
Keep on truckin'

Hahahaha. who would have imagined that a LOSER like Michael Riddick has to respond to himself!

Point. Laugh.

Does it really matter if your opponent uses or doesn't use a diamond system? Does it matter if your opponent points with his stick? I always thought it was your own game you should be concentrating on.

Hey Ren56, its the SAME guy. Not just the topics but also what they used to call a "fist", basically his typing style. Its obvious that the same person is doing the typing/texting.

"Between 1800 and 1850, chalk was first used on cue stick ends to increase friction, leather cue tips were invented, diamond-shaped sights were added to rails

How embarrassing for pool to have the rest of the world view us as needing training wheels. I'm the first to bash snooker players and their funny girly man stance...but I can see how they have a low brow opinion of pool.

Ya I'm really don't understand what's the hold up with the hammer

The hold up is likely related to the fact that the forum brand, vbulletin, does not have and sort of defenses built in that can keep a determined a-hole from doing what he is doing.

I believe all he has to do is go through a proxy server and create a new username with new email.

A lot of effort, for what? Just out of revenge for how the azb reacted to his ram shot?!

One can only laugh at the loser.

He REALLY wants to be part of us...but like that recent thread about 'how do you treat the new guy that starts hanging out at the room?'' He doesn't fit in coz of himself, not us.

Actually, Gareth has been seen in many videos marking the table bed with his tip.

I believe this is illegal, and I think I saw him called on it once..

I will find a recent video for you where he is looking at position and he heavily chalks his cue, looks for Ref, and then puts his cue tip on table and grinds away to make a big chalk mark on the table where he wanted his cue ball..
Ref came walking around to see the holdup and Gareth stopped when he saw him.

This, to me, is blatant cheating, but I guess that's not the consensus..

Brags/8ballr could have never created such a great technique as the Ram Shot or have written such a great book as "A Beginners Guide to Playing 8 Ball Pool".
That credit goes to PoolKillers.

8ballr did not start that thread, I (mchnhed) did.
It was to show how intimating going to a Pool Room is to the majority of non-players.

Tell them 8ballr!
Tell them you are not me!
Cowboy Up!

Yes show me thanks....we will compare it to the elki or whatever his name was that I called foul on when he was playing Efren.

A guy that shoots as good as Gareth has to mark the cloth to show him where to hit the same shot he has hit 10,000 times before. Yeah, I'm not buying that. Also, 99.9 of the guys that use their cue to aim or just pointing at the ball and NOT marking the cloth. Brags, or whatever his name is does not understand this and never will.

What i cant understand is how a guy that posted a video attempting to run a rack faster than luc salvas and hung a straight in easy 6 ball could ever think of losing the diamonds. His straight in shots are bad enough, imagine him attempting to bank without diamonds. It would be horrendous. BRAGS/8Ballr are just lonely. They cant run 3 balls so instead of practicing like they should they/he is here stirring the sh!t pot. Eventually he will have to lick that spoon that he is stirring with.

Ya lots of people talking all big...you (you probably can't even do a stop shot)...another one who calls himself a pool instructor...Tony Baloney is it? I don't see any video proof that they can do what BRAGS did...on his first attempt too.

BRAGS didnt do anything. He ran 3 easy balls and then missed an easy shot. There was nothing special about it. You missed an easy ball and lost that game. Im not talking big at all. I offered you action when you were brags and nothing has changed. Come to Lubbock TX and prove how good you really are. I will lay you 10-1 on anything you bet and give you the 6 out and 10 games going to 30. Thats a big enough spot to give even the worst of games like yours a chance. Now either step up or step out. Money will need to be posted immediately.

More blah blah...I could probably beat you with my left hand. Let's see you do what Brags did...what's the delay?

(he was robbed on the 6 ball.)
