I do not know if this is a quality product but I would be concerned about its short shelf life based on its cost.

Not knowing anything about the product you linked. I would do something similar to what they do in the video. But I would do so by sitting in a chair and putting the cue in my lap and "Spinning" the shaft from my hip to my knee and back.
