ANYONE Try NEW TZAR TIP Yet???????????

REALLY GOOD TO ME-
Much Better than MOST

And you are one of our WINNERS in the give away. So, you'll see them up close and personal ;)

The tips were just released last week. Seybert just bought a ton of them, so I'm trying to get their order taken care of. I wanted to make sure they got their order cause they are a great business partner and just a nice place to do business with. It doesn't get any better than Seyberts. So, look for them or any of my dealers coming up in the next week or two.

Other dealers are just now placing their orders, so other than a few local guys in Chicago, nobody really has them on their cues yet ;) But the ones that have, including myself, the reviews have been quite good.

I don't believe anyone will be disappointed. Someone was asking me if they are better than this brand or the other brand. With tips, it's going to come down to personal preference, but I would find it difficult to fathom if someone said they did not like them. But, if they like LePro's, they might not like these, so I can't say for sure and why we have the 100% money back guarantee. But, the quality is there and it's a great product. It would be hard to give a money back guarantee if we didn't think it was a very good product.

But, I do know it is the best leather (pigskin) and using the correct process to make them. One local cue maker told me the tips cut just like the old Moori's. I'm not the familiar with the old Moori's but he said that is a complement. He said they cut very nice, good strands, quality leather. He was impressed and usually he doesn't say much ;) Truth be told I'm usually playing with his dog anyways ;)

My main concern with any new tip that comes out, is the price. What ever happened to earning the right to charge instead of pricing being comparable to other tips available. They are all guilty of this. Except the tips that are endorsed by Searing and Bluegrass. They are fair and when the price goes up. It will be because they've earned the right to justify it.

So, if we build a great tip, we can't charge a reasonable price? We are not basing our price off the other guys, we base it off how much it costs to make. We could have used cheaper leather and sold it for dirt cheap. But, we use quality and still charge less than the big time name brands. I think that is a good deal. I don't think many folks want to bring a product to market and lose money until folks decide it's "good" enough to charge a price reflective of it's quality.

We have a 100% money back guarantee if you don't like the tip. I don't believe any other tip maker has offered such a guarantee. I thought it was important enough to push for that guarantee to show we are standing behind our product and folks are not as gun shy to pull the trigger on a new tip to the market. If there is a guarantee you will like it, folks may give us a try. If not, we'll refund their purchase price. I think that is pretty fair, especially in the Billiards community.

I think your mission statement is great. Time will tell from batch to batch. I wish you the greatest success.

I put a mild dud on my shaft 2 months ago. Already need a new tip because it wore down real fast. If I like Triangle tips, will I like this tip. How much for one tip to try it out?

What about the people who don’t install their own tips? Are you willing to refund that install price so your customer doesn’t get screwed still?

Surely you're joking. Hell, how about paying for your pool time while you're trying it out?? Might as well buy your lunch while you're playing the gratis pool as well.

This has nothing to do with this tip or this thread for that matter. People I do work for, trust me and my opinion. When I sell and install the tip. If the tip doesn't perform like it's suppose to. People do not blame the manufacturer, they blame me. I went thru this on one brand and basically went bust changing them out. I took the hit on the tip I installed as far as the new one I replaced it with, for free. The only case I didn't take the hit, is when people supplied thier own tip. It's a slippery slope.

Giving him a bit of a hard time, but if he wants to push the point that he’s so confident in his product why not.

I’ve faced the same issues before when trying some of these supposed new fancy “private” label layered tips. When I install a medium tip and I expect a medium tip. Some have ranged from super soft to almost rock hard. If I wanted to deal with having with a refund I would want my time refunded too.
