Fundraiser for Jr Nationals, NE kids

Hi folks,

The person that runs out local junior leagues (we have a few of them in different areas) setup a GoFundMe to help the parents with expenses for going to Nationals. Although several of the parents are pretty well off and don't need help, there is a group of kids that were recently added that don't have much at all from family support.

We run a yearly tournament to also raise money as well. Thanks to the internet and AZB we can reach a lot more people though, it's the first time he is trying this route.

This is the first year my son can't play at Nationals (18 now) but we are still involved in helping out. As those that have been here for a bit know I am a huge fan and supporter of our kids, as well as the people involved in the program and the pool halls they play in.

Send 5,10,20, whatever their way if you can. I still remember years ago someone on here sent me $100 when I was trying to sell my cue to raise money for one of our trips.

Hope you enjoy your Nationals trip, I'm sure you will be going to New Orleans this year from what I have seen. I have been there 5 years straight and will miss going there with my son a lot, although it won't be the end of our pool trips together, there is always SBE and league nationals if our team qualifies.

We will definitely be there.... Im not poor by any means but damn, these trips nearly broke the bank setting them up this year. I don't know how people do these type of things that have 4+ kids all with different hobbies/passions.

Last trip to Nationals we made it a full family vacation, wife and my youngest daughter went also. We could have bought a decent used car instead LOL it was well worth it though, Grand Canyon trip while we were there, my daughters first plane ride, etc...

I have so many great memories and trips due to my son loving pool, hoping the same for you! And anyone else with kids that do this.

Samm is great to be around to help your son, she was part of the BEF for a while and would be a good role model.
