Where can you purchase a 3 inch butt extension?

I purchased a Balance Rite Cue extension for a 3/8 X 10 pin OB1 cue. The extra length is just what I needed but I noticed the cue wobbles badly when all together and rolled on a pool table. If I put the extension just on the shaft it rolls fine, if I put the extension on the butt and the shaft the thing wobbles incredibly bad. I've tried to have it refaced but it seems to still be off. I'm thinking the threads are not on center in the extension. Just wanted anyone's opinions on these things and I seen other people had the same issue. I'm just looking for a extension that will roll together and apart on my cue, thoughts? Does anyone know where I can purchase a 3 inch butt extension for a OB Butt?

if the extension rolls straight on the shaft but not on the butt, then the problem possibly is that the threads in the butt are not centered or the end surface of the butt is not true to the butt.

The extension rolls straight with the shaft, the shaft rolls straight with the butt. I don't think the problem is in the extension.

Re-read the post. Realized that this extension is mid cue and not for the butt. So my answer would not apply to the problem.

I need to read and look at pictures more carefully!

I have a 4 inch extension for my cue made by Guido Orlandi. It rolls perfect (and I mean perfect) apart or together

Guido's contact info is 906-239-2201

I think that the Balance Rite extension is geared toward people who want to add weight and move the balance point of the cue. I tried a friends cue that had one and liked the feel. But yeah, quality control isn't too good on them.

If you're not concerned about changing the weight/balance, OB makes an extension. If you want the weight/balance change, check out the AZB guy referenced earlier. Lots of positive reviews on his products.

In this case, it's probably the extension. Balance Rite is known for taking a straight cue and making it a slightly wobbly cue.

Cue Extension by Guido Orlandi

Here are a couple pics... I'll have some more later. This extension goes between the Shaft & the Butt.

This particular Extension is on my Cue. I have Guido's Conical Tapered joint, best in the world. The tapered joint ensures concentricity in the screw diameter & outside surface. It also guarantees, longitudinal straightness.

Guido's number is 906-542-7069, this week he is at a big Pool Tournment

"Wow.....

We're talking cue sticks here,
BTW,
"I still think you fowled yesterday and didn't mark that last hickey in the golf game :o

Blokid on here is another good option. He does good work at reasonable prices and in a reasonable time frame.

I'd recommend trying to contact Josh Treadway. He made a butt extension for a cue I had. It was a 4" 4oz
Extension with a G-10 pin. The wood matched really nice
and was done in a timely fashion.
