I hope he's here to play competitively. I don't know any other reason for his showing up.

I watched his 3 cushion play for a few minutes or so. He didn't look as comfortable on that table as ones with pockets.

My wife hasn't hit a ball in 20 years (since we met in a pool hall), but last night we stopped at Dave's (Jacoby) cue display and without warning, she bought a Nick Varner, pink (!!!) cue for $70 and said she wants to learn to play.

And I thought 1-Pocket was slow.
