Kremlin Cup stream...??

Will this be streamed anywhere? I think the US Mosconi guys are playing in this.

Today the tournament in piramid started.
The pool event starts tomorrow and I guess there will be several tables streamed as it was last year.
Here you can find the links for the charts and you'll be able to find the streamed table over there if there are any... The only problem the site is in russian.

BTW Corey Deuel is participating in the event. He lost his first match 2:4.

The Ukrainians have pretty good representation numbers it looks like in the pyramid brackets. Not bad.
Any Ukrainian pool players competing tomorrow?

Also, can you help me out with the rules they are playing under, I watched a match and when players potted the yellow ball by carom, they took any white of choice off the table and then had ball in hand behind the line for next shot while white went to their score board.
But I have watched matches before where the yellow or maybe it was dark red stayed down after pocketing. Was that a different game?

They're doing another Mosconi-style matchup between US and Russia this year, I assume it will be shortly after the Kremlin Cup.

When it comes to the rules... They are playing the game "Combined piramid". In this game any time you pocket the CB (" svoyak":)) you score one ball and take any OB off the table to your board and you have CB in hand behind the line playing from the kitchen. You should play all the shots with the CB so only pocketed object balls stay down in the pockets till the player's attempt is finished (like in one pocket) but if the player pockets the "svoyak" he scores the ball by taking añy OB and takes the CB to play from the kitchen. So I don't know how come it was something different in the matches you watched...

As for ukrainian representation in fact this year we don't have that strong representation as we used to have in the previous years and there are certain reasons for....but never mind at least we have at least several really strong players and two players who have better chances to win in my opinion. They are Dmitriy Belozyorov and Pavel Radionov and they both play very offensive especially Belozyorov. It won't be boring to watch him playing. If it happens Dmitriy will be able to make it to the final and young russian "crazy shooter" Iosif Abramov does the same you will have some fun watching these guys shooting for the win;). Of course there are plenty of great players in the field so the battle will be very hard.

At 10 min point in this match....https://youtu.be/D4Ndf2w5Pvs

She breaks and sinks the svoyak off the break and it stays down.
And then continues to shoot using any white as a cue ball.

This is the form of pyramid in most used to watching, and they always try to make yellow on the break.

Also thanks for the response and keeping me clued in to what's going on. If there was a table near me, I'd play this more for sure.
Also, after playing, I'm sure the rules and strategy get solidified in the mind.

You're welcome and that's true it is much more fun to master the rules and strategy while playing).

Ok now I got it. The answer is very simple. Men are playing "Combined piramid" while the women play "Free piramid" so any ball can be a CB:thumbup:

A ha! The light bulb just went off above my head.
Combined pyramid and free pyramid.

Which is more fun to play or which would you prefer to play?

It seems free pyramid can go really fast, like 9 ball in pool, while combined pyramid has more time to develop the match.

That is like to answer what do you like to play 9-ball or one pocket. I play piramid mostly just for fun so it depends on the opponent and how much time for playing we have.

Here is a chart for pool event https://tournamentservice.net/tournament.php?chart=25626.
The matches start at 10:00 Moscow time and it looks like there should be 5 tables streamed for free. We'll see how it works tomorrow.

If I'm reading the flow chart correctly and applying the 7-hour time difference correctly, then the match times for east coast USA (EDT) are:

Wednesday -- 3 am, 5:30 am, 7:15 am, 9 am, 10:45 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:15 pm

Thursday -- 3 am, 5 am, 7 am, 10 am, and 12 pm

Friday -- 3 am and 5 am (Semifinals)

Saturday -- 4 am (Finals)

So I see at least 5 matches streamed per round. It's free and works well so far so enjoy.
The team Russia vs. USA challenge starts on Sunday and I'm sure it will be streamed as well as last year.
