Can I change the weight of this cue?

There is always a way to change the weight !
If the weight is close to where you want it, changing the weight bolt works easy enough. This you can do at home.
If the weight is not close enough to be adjusted with weight bolts, it can be chucked up in a lathe, and the weight bolt hold increased in length, or bored out to accept larger heavier weight bolts. This you simply need access to a lathe and the appropriate measurement equipment and lathe tooling.

Would you like to improve the performance by shifting the balance point towards the front or would you like to push it back?
IF you would like to move the balance point forward, use the 3/8" x 16 headless bolts. They are available at Atlascuesupply,com for around $2.50 for 10, each are one inch long and weigh in at .34 oz. You should also spend the $4.75 on their long hex wrench. Don't forget shipping of a few hundred or so, just kidding.
IF you would rather push the balance point to the rear, go to home despot or any hardware store.

Another way..,
You can also take that bolt to a machine shop and have them cut it in half. Once they cut it have them burnish the cut end, that allows you to keep the hex head end so that you can screw a smaller bumper on the end if you want to.
