I think a couple people got them this week but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere yet. Unpatiently waiting to see them listed on seyberts so I can get it fairly cheap with my pending bucks.

They are out there. Read Seyberts had them but not shown on website. Pooldawg had some by the time I was advised to late they thought uniloc. Picked up a Radial from Billiards.com.
Said to deliver next Friday.

review

As i posted in another thread... I received one the other day (from All Around Billiards)...

Radial, have it on my Dicola (which is probably no longer going to be for sale)...

Plays very nicely.

My friend has a Starkey CF and i have hit a few with Revos...

It has a very solid hit (best way i can describe it), more so than the Revo. Not as stiff overall as the Starkey (which is nice as well).

Mine still has the Sniper tip on it (i like snipers generally)...

I don't compare deflection between shafts... we are all different in our feel. what i would say is this one is confidence inspiring.

-Joe

Note- I have a bunch of shafts, from straight maple ivory ferruled, ferruless Rick Howards (which i was shooting with previously), a couple of Mezz shafts (700 and 900) and multiple generations of tigers... all have pluses and minuses... but give me a few minutes and i can usually adjust reasonable... I sold the only Predator 314 i had and while i've hit with a few Z2 shafts... generally hate them. To give you a bit of an idea of my preferences.

REVO - Cuetec - REVO - Cuetec - REVO - Cuetec........

I don't have anyone I know with a Cuetec yet. I have played with both 12.9 and 12.4 REVO shafts. Nice on 9' ers super long shots but to me they hit/feel is like 'pipe'. I personally favored the 12.4 since my preference is generally around 12.5. Think one would help me and my weak azzzz long shot game.

I do like the idea of all the various joint selections with the Cuetec. Out of all my Cues I have no Radials at the moment and I do not like uni's with exception of my breaker.

Like many, I have owned allot of LD shafts over the years always going back to select old growth maple. Played them for a bit and passed them on only keeping a Pred 314-2 ( my favorite of all LD's I have owned) which at the moment sits in a case.

I will not drop $500 ( + ) for a REVO until they are readily available and wake up on different joint choices AND I have the chance to play a Cuetec. Appreciate more feedback on the new Cuetec from respected members.

-Happy New Year-

-Kat,

Not bad at all! Enjoy your new shaft and provide some feedback if you get a chance.

I hope too, seemed they were closed at the time of my purchase so I don't think it will get shipped until the 2nd at the earliest. Also have the new 12.0 prime M that I got as Xmas gift, so will hopefully get some time to do a comparison on the cuetec, becue and my 12.4 Revo. Plan to do this in the next 2-3 weeks as long as I get the cuetec in by the 2nd week.

Cuetec Carbon Fiber Shaft

I played with the Revo 12.4 and the Cuetec. I prefer the Cuetec as the taper is more similar to my regular wood shaft. I play with Predator S Tuned from Seyberts.
I am still undecided to fully commit to playing with it. For long straight in shots they are great. Hardly, if any, deflection. But for "feel" and shot that requires a certain "touch" I prefer my regular shaft.
I am playing with both and use them according to the shot. Golfers do it.., why not me.
I am no Pro but I just play a little bit and once in a while I get lucky.

Facebook group sellers are asking $450 hehe.

Believe 450 is the MSRP and people didn't expect it to be listed cheaper anywhere. Was completely surprised when I saw 400 and knew I have over 100 discount coming. Pretty happy at that price since I've paid full price on my 3 Revo shafts and becue shaft.
