Guess the Maker.

Not hard to do when a wrap is done as nice as that AND the maker's (Pete's) previous work has similarities another may be emulating... Of course if you were able to tell the differences you'd understand but then again you can't so, ya know... You're not alone though as I caught as well

Really a compliment to the owner, he's who worked the wrap up from stock to museum-quality, a lot of time spent getting it perfect

Whomever did it is not only very picky but was able to get it done and didn't settle for just ok. With the style of cue the OP posted, my first thought was of someone who would do such nice leather and that was the Pete's. Kudo's to the owner

'The wrap looks GREAT,
But,
So does the finish and inlay work...
why I considered a SHOWAMN CUE

Brian also spent a ton of time polishing it. Was truly a diamond in the rough. There's a reason that a bunch of NYCs top prayers go to him for tip/shaft work, he's brilliant at lathe work

Oh I definitely did, good catch

Ya see, it's comments like this, replying and agreeing with a statement coming from a cue neophyte then immediately afterward a cordial reply to myself and other comments that support the validity of my earlier thoughts....

Be careful, you wouldn't want anyone to think you're agreeing with me....:slap:

Couldnt have been a Tasc - no gaps around the inlays. Don't kill the messenger.
Jason

They're in Ebony...You wouldn't see any gaps with inlays from the pics posted...LOL...They could still be there. Prabably are.. Unless the corners were hand cut after pocket milling, they are there. Could be there regardless from loose pocket milling.

Unfortunately the messenger forgot some items in the car....:)
