Need to have my Schon Shaft fit my Falcon Cue

Good morning:
Your title of this thread and your question is actually 2 seperate questions.
Fit the Schon shaft to the Falcon butt, turn down the pilot on the shaft, tap it with a regular 5/16x14 tap. Done!

Make the Falcon butt fit the Schon shaft,
Pull the joint screw, bore the pilot hole to that of a Schon and replace the joint Screw with a .303x14 screw. If you can find one. Much more work.
