Carbon Shaft w/ Hard tip

I have a cynergy shaft. My thoughts: love the stroke but hate the contact with the soft tip. I definitely like the feel of a hard tip more. The cynergy comes with a sniper tip, soft, and I’ve been thinking of switching to a harder tip but I don’t want to effect the playability of the carbon shaft. Anyone experiment with this yet? What are your results?

Works exactly the same as it would on a wood shaft. I used a Zan Grip hard on my Revo and liked it a lot :smile:

I prefer harder tips. If your cue delivery is very linear they work well.

The stiffer hit of a carbon shaft may mean you need to go lighter on your cue so you're not over-juicing the ball and can still play those softer-but-high-spin touch shots.
