I'm guessing they are made from Lexan or another polycarbonate?
If they have the right amount of elasticity, and hold chalk,
I don't see why they wouldn't work on a player as well.
I've thought of making some myself, as an experiment.
 
My guess is that any 308 bullet would have no problem going through that when fired from a descent gun.

Seriously......I don’t have a break cue and I don’t have a cue guy to do Tips.

BTW Porper has a synthetic tip for regular use.
Anyone tried that one?

Finest on market i have one a a cheap j/b cue and works super, in fact like it better than bk rush and a predator jumper. a lot less money to.:thumbup::thumbup:
 
tell me why I should change from the same white diamond that I've used for 5 years now?
