2020 WPA World 9-Ball Championships to Matchroom?

I hope this is okay to post (if not I'm sure someone will remove it!), but this was posted on the British Pro9 site this morning:

It says that next year's World 9-Ball will not take place in Qatar, but another Organiser is going to step in...surely it can only be Barry Hearn?

Oddly I can't actually see this release on the official WPA site...but then I'm not sure how up-to date their news section is anyway.

Has NOT been determined yet. BH has some bad blood with WPA from back in the day and hopefully that's all under the bridge. I don't think we'll see an announcement for a month at least.
 
I doubt there will even be a World 9 Ball Championship in 2020. Not enough time for an organiser to stage it this year.

good point, but hate to see those gaps in the world champ timeline

matchroom is obviously the best but CSI did a great job in world 10-ball
