When do leagues run and what hours is your pool hall open?

So I am curious at our 1 pool hall the hours are 4 pm till 11 pm 4 days of the week and 4 pm till 1 am 2 days of the week. Is this standard? There have been a couple of times since the place reopened that they have closed 2 hours early cause the place was not busy enough. I guess thoughts?

Also normally do 8 ball leagues go year round for you guys? Because here they only start in September.
 
Mine is open 11am til 2am 7 days a week.

Various leagues run several days a week, year ‘round. There are also house 9-ball and 10-ball tournaments weekly.

I’m lucky and know it.
 
All weeknight divisions start at 7.30 and end anywhere from 10.30 to 11.30....depending on how many low level players are used lol.

Sunday masters starts at 2.00 and usually end at 4.00. Sunday in house apa at the same location starts at 7.00

Sunday apa in house at sharpshooters starts at 6.00 and idls usually through by 10.00- 10.30

As for hours of operation.

Hi pockets opens at 12.00 normally and closes at 12.00 normally. Houra are adjusted for tournaments. Free practice for league players start at 5.30 and lasts until closing .
Table fees for league players are 5.00 for the entire team which breaks down to 1.00 per player and we play double jeapordy which is both 8 and 9 ball so that breaks down to 50 cent per match. 1.00 to play from 5.30 to 12.00 is a helluva deal and the owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and even sponsors pros.

Sharpshooters opens at 4.00 and closes at 12.00 and alaos adjusts hours for tournaments. Free practice for league players starts an hour before league and actually table time is free during your match also.. Not sure if its still in effect but when the new owner took over he stated that he would matcb the apa travel money for nationals for any team that used his venue for home base.

The rack is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day . its been a while since i played out if there so i am not sure what incentives they offer league players. One thing of note though. They are the only place that has all diamond tables..

We have various other venues where apa ....some could be called a pool hall but i cannot give much info as i have only played there in tournaments .

one other venue is a bar that has 6 tables and is open 24 hours a day seven days a week also..that place does not offer free table time for league players and its 75 cent a game there. I will say he takes good care of his equipment for a bar and usually replaces the felt before he hosts apa tournaments and the balls are clean and has replaced them more timez than you would expect from a bar. He also pays half of league fees for players on his teams.

I would say apa players here have it made compared to other places accorxing to what people on here have posted.
 
All of the above long winded post. Was concerning apa. We do have a couple money leagues also. They have been ongoing for years. One is a traveling league that plays on a couple nights a week.

The other is inhouse and they have several nights and both 7 foot and 9 foot options available. Also have a eeekly tournament on the 9 footers from what i recall.

The Pool scene has been good here over the years. I really hope it bounces back after this pandemic subsides.

Nothing open in my area yet.

When they were open, some were open till 11ish, other till 1am.
