Cards for pool? Wish this could happen.

So I know they make them. But everywhere I go the coin op bar boxes only take coins or dollar bills. I wish they could take cards. I also wish that leagues could take cards. Anyone have leagues or tables that take cards or contactless payments? I find it increasingly irritating that I have to get cash or coins.

Thanks

Those tables (or cashless conversion kits) aren't cheap. Just be glad that the place even has tables and quit whining. Put on your big boy pants and stop at the bank and get cash/coins before going to play. If you're still overly butt-hurt over this maybe the owner can open up the table and charge you hourly. If i was the owner i'd say to hit the change machine or hit the bricks.

Our leagues cost $5 and $7 plus $1.50 for each game you break, I would be embarrassed to charge that.

Valleys here have cards with wireless reader that charge 2€... been years.

I like my guns too much to move to Europe. Could you ship me one? LOL

When you get that low some places has like a 2 dollar limit on how low they can charge a card. But not all places do that. I have charged something like .55 cents on a card. I don't really get embarrassed.

The merchant has to pay a fee on all transactions, thats why I prefer not to charge small amounts. Some businesses have a minimum transaction amount when using credit cards. We are quickly headed in the direction of very limited brick and mortar businesses where everything we buy comes from a picture on the interweb. There are many items I like to be able to inspect or put my hands on goods before buying them, especially when it comes to non essential items. Its going to be very disappointing not to be able to take my purchase home from the store that day.
