Indexable Cutter Question

I recently switched back to the taig style tool post from the quick change type. I'd like to setup one tool post with an indexable cutter (I believe that is what you call the cutters you can replace the end on). It fits in the slot but is too high and there is no adjustment.
Does anyone sell these in 1/4 inch or a taig post that will take the larger cutter, or do I mill out the slot?

Thanks

I am not a cue maker but had a similar problem with my cheap indexable cutter holders using them in my 10 x 24 lathe. Fixed by milling a bit off the bottom of the holders. I would recommend cutting down the individual holders rather than the lathe or tool post.

My holders are very similar to:

They are not 3/8" anymore :)

Just one mans opinion and experience.
