COVID-19 & Pool Playing / Pool Cues

Amazing, I work for a living. You're on social security, right?

Get off welfare before you try nitpicking someone else's life.

Like yourself, I also exercised First Amendment rights. I'm sorry that you're another snowflake who got his feelings hurt after getting called out for spewing ignorant garbage.

Actually you need read up on Social Security it is something people pay into, employee like 8.5%, employeer matches. In my case because I was self employeed, I paid in BOTH SIDES.

Show how smart you are, not very smart, may have education, but no understanding of something as simple as Social Security.

I think your a Snowflake, or just a FLAKE. Also you are a embarrassment to your parent, becase of your potty moth.

Hope people can read, comprehend, and get it. We are being played. Wonder what would happen if ever person wanting to shop at local Wal - Mart showed up, and refused to wear a mask. Be they would be allowed to enter.

Money over dumb masks.

The fact that you think you are smarter than anyone on this forum is the real shame. Dunning and Kruger would like to have a word with you.

Regardless, as the bard famously said, I'll pay you $100 to f$*k off. Let me know if you want the cash, it would be more productive than you continuing to drag this forum down with your ignorance and bias.

No.

Ron Paul is a famous conservative whose name has been co-opted by lunatics and conspiracy theorists.

Same deal, if a plane crashes, do the victims dies of broken necks or a plane crash? Look at how many more people in the US have been hospitalized or died this year. Call it 'pneunonia' or 'organ failure' if you want, just look at the death rate and not the politics

Pool players aren't usually the models of perfect health, and should really take this seriously. Permanent respiratory issues or dying doesn't feel worth it if you take a year off from the game to avoid it.

Unfortunately, this country's population has shown how trashy we really are by continuing to argue about things as simple as "stay home unless absolutely necessary" and "just wear a mask to stop the spread of virus".

You do know that when retired folks collect social security that that is nothing like welfare, right?? The politicians may have dipped their scandalous fingers in to SS to use it for welfare but that is not its original intent. FDR instituted SS as a retirement fund for those who have contributed into this fund. If you didnt work and contribute to SS you didnt get paid at retirement age. It is not a form of welfare, welfare is money paid to people who refuse to work. Why they are allowed to get paid for not working is beyond me, it is easy to see the abuse when segments of the population continue to spawn offspring then claim they have no idea who the father is so he is not held responsible for supporting his offspring. That shit needs to be fixed. I absolutely do not doubt that there are people who need financial help for 1 reason or another but welfare is not supposed to be a career yet it is allowed to be and even encouraged.

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge or information.
Yes he is bias, as are you, as am I. He is backing up his bias with information. You are not backing up yours with information, you are simply suggesting he be silenced so he can no longer disagree with your ideas. If he is wrong explain why.

Then you have those born 1917 - 1926 like my POP, he paid in but never was treated fairly by the Social Security System, he also spent many years as self - employeed. Again paying both the Employees, and Employeers portion.

Notch Baby got shafted by their Uncle Sam.

Social Security was designed to be something people paid into, so they would have a small pension from the Federal Government.

If the average Social Security Receiptent was allowed to have the option to pay in, or not. Most people would not pay in. This is not a voluntary system Social Security is mandatory.

Hey now........I contributed to Social Security for 46 years.......it adds up to a lot of money.
That money could have been invested and I’d be filthy rich.....started paying in the 60’s.

If I die, there’d have been a remainder left for my kids but with Social Security that isn’t possible.
The money I get from Social Security is mine...my money.....and the excess I contributed that I do
not receive helps keep the system funded. It isn’t welfare. I’ve paid in more $ than I’ll ever get back.

Social Security, Income Tax... It all penalizes success.
Government: The harder you work the more we take, the less you work the more we give you. Die and we keep what is owed plus tax what you have left.

The lazy are easy to control

I apologize to all of you. I forgot to lock the NPR door behind me and some loonies snuck out. I promise to be more careful in the future.

I have more guns than I need just like cues...

.

When you finish your post with a sentence like that, it’s hard to take you seriously! :p

Does Wilson make the EDC X9 in .45? I didn’t think so. Regardless, you’ll never go wrong with any Wilson Combat product!

BTW, bring your guns and cues to Florida. We’re open, and you and they are all welcome here! :)

Oops, you are correct......I spoke with Wilson Combat Arms last year and the .45 produces too much energy for that frame.
It’s is one of the reason they specialize in 9mm customization. I was eyeing a Nighthawk Custom Agent II but $5k is steep.
My original point was merely an analogy about guns being like cues. I own 8 cues and 16 guns (5 long guns & 11 handguns).
Heck, my CCW lists 4 different handguns any my Utah permit covers every handgun I own or even purchase in the future.
I have more guns & cues than any man or woman could ever need. When they aren’t being used with COVID, I started wondering.

You must think I am desperate for a "C NOTE", my advice is start a Go Fund Me, with a goal of $100,000.00 that would be an attention getter. They say everyone has a price, mine isw over here. <<<<<-----so you have a mission should you wish to accept it dumbo.

I think you're desperate for attention, and hoped throwing some money at you would make you leave. I guess the pool hall costs too much for you to sit and jaw at.

Your the person who offer $100.00, if I was going to take up you offer, I gave you a price to get my attention.

I was just answer your dumb question, might consider the go fund me thing, might find some people to support your fund raising efforts.

SS is one of the most beloved institutions by people over 65 in our entire government.

Most people are unable to save and invest--witness the bottom half of families have a combined net worth of $0.00

While those that are able to save and invest, I ask you what does one do with a 55 year old mother of 3, smoker, who's career choice was taking care of disabled children. She ends up making a bit over $12K per year.

Where does she find savings to invest? after paying rent, utilities, food, clothing, medical insurance, ...

Social Security, Income Tax... It all penalizes success.

Who would you tax? the poor? what kind of *.gov do you think we would have if we took the bottom 10% and taxed everything they earn? Not enough to open the doors of our *.gov institutions !

To those who have been given much, much is demanded.

Well I am not most people, first off, as I got bitten by the "pay yourself first bug", in 1978. Started putting money away each pay check for the future. Did that like clock work 20+ years.

Most of the Nucklehead people today, the younger, the dumber, live revolving around having the latest junk, gizmo, phone, or doo dads. The word saving is not in voculabary.

The majority do not have $250.00 in saving for a rainey day, many of their dumb parents, or grandparent just bail me out of every little bumps in the road.

Not how I lived my youth, so I have zero simpithy for them.

I would tell these kids better learn to stand on you own feet, mommie & daddy will die soon or later. Then you go to live in a homeless shelter based upon how you live life.

BTW I paid in both sides of Social Security for years of self employment, I earned my little check.

Social Security is an earned benefit folk pay into.
