It is pretend money. You can use it to bet on events that are in the Sportsbook (vbookie) Events. I don't know if you can bet between members or how you can get more. I just know that the forums gave me 500 to start. The last 2 events I bet on I won 100 but lost 100, so I am back where I started.

I wish the forums would add the Mosconi Cup so I could bet on it. I think I would take Europe. (Even though I like US better).
