So yeah: How many of you fellow Mechanics actually PLAY POOL?? I did not ask how well, that does not matter to me as long as you love the game.

Whats your favorite game? table? pool room?

ONE POCKET, DIAMOND, SURGE on FULLERTON in Chicago.

Pretty much every day. My favorite game is one pocket, but I don't get much opportunity to play it. We have a couple of private rooms in my area, both with 4 Diamond tables. I've never been a great player, but have always loved the game! My Fargo Rating is 580, and seems pretty accurate.

Fastone, you know your sh it , I am interested in your answers! I know what table you have! :)
Thank you. I learned everything I know about tables right here in these forums from guys like you!!! Plus a little more from setting up my GCI. Reading and doing it are 2 different things, disassembling and reassembling my table put all that I read and learned here into perspective. Thanks to you guys I love my GC, I would not trade it for a Diamond but I do want a Diamond bar box at home, then I can burn my Valley.

Once upon a time, I was a very good player. Quit taking it so seriously in 2016, after a divorce. At that time, it was necessary for me to become a full-time parent. While I still have a passion for the game, I've shifted my focus from playing the game, to working on pool tables. While the time commitment is only slightly less, my new focus provides for my daughter and I both, instead of just for myself.

Despite largely stepping away from competitive play, I have had some good showings at the occasional barbox tournament. Any more, the only time I touch a cue is if a customer asks me to shoot a couple of racks.

My Fargo rating is a 444. Funny, considering that the only FargoRate tournaments that I've played were in 2016. One was a tight 2nd to a 697 rating. The other was a 3rd, behind the same 697 and a 627.
