I am very interested in making my own billiard light, I have tried to gets plans on Facebook with no luck. I think I can make my through construction and electrical. But does anyone know what kind of light diffuser is used

You want 5/8 inch silver square diffusers with the parabolic sides that reflect the light. Install them with the flat sides up towards the bulbs and the inside curved sides down facing the table,that's what bends the light to disperse it.

Confirming the Diamond light still has plastic diffusers. They use eight 4' LED bulbs now. This was delivered with my Paragon table in September 2020. In the picture below, it has been unboxed by the electricians, just before they installed it.Mine is just silver colored plastic, but it has the T8 bulbs, not sure if newer models are the same. It's a Diamond
