OT: golf instructors in the LA area?

Since many pool players also play golf, I figured somebody may have recommendations.

Many of my pool playing friends play golf on a frequent basis, but I've never played anything more than mini golf. I'd like to become proficient enough to eventually go golfing with them. My wife is also interesting in learning.

Does anybody know a good golf instructor for beginners in the LA area?
