Has anyone heard of Shuriken Cues?

The original Shuriken cues were made by Israel Hightower. They were thinner and stiffer than most cues. But now someone overseas is using the same name building those fancy spliced cues.

I just got mine today. Before I continue, I just want to say that everyone is different and we all have preferrences.

I was just going to test hit with it for a few shots. I lost track of time and shot count and when I snapped to it, I've been playing for 2.5 hrs lol. Definitely my new "player"! I don't have a huge collection. I have a schon r12, an 80's JossWest, a Joss handmade (probably early 2000's). I don't know how else to describe the "hit" other than it has more "guts" than my JossWest and Joss. For each of my cues, I use 90% of the time, a 12mm solid maple shaft and the odd time, a mezz wx700.
Balance point:
Schon R12: 19 in.
JossWest: 19.5 in
Joss: 19 3/4 in.
Shuriken: 19 3/4 in.
I hope this helps.

P.S. I tried to include a video but I'm having trouble with that.
Glad you are happy! Thanks for the feedback!

Never had one. They look cool as hell. Sorry but i'm not sending $ to Ukraine for any reason. Probably safe/secure but i don't want to test that theory.
Coincidentally I did send $ there for a kitten for my girl. The cat breeder was pretty big time In the Ukraine. It was very expensive, but sure enough the kitten showed up perfectly. I figured I had 50% best case to get the cat.🐈

I'm thinking of ordering one, I've always loved the butterfly style, but do you have a butterfly style black cue with linen wrap sir?
Hello,
Black an white cue we can make any model you like from this list: http://shurikencues.com/splices-geometry/
Feel free to combine splices between each other, request colors for each splice, etc.
Final cost will depend on chosen model. The more complicated splices geometry the higher cost.

Unfortunately we don't make wrapping. I can offer sectional model like this below with stripped grip. Also grip may be plain black or white or any other wood specie.

The second option to have such a cue with linen wrap is to order a custom cue blank with a section for wrapping. But before you need to find a cuemaker who would finish this blank.

if they want business in the u.s. then they just need to set up a reliable middleman to receive the cues and check them out and forward them to the new owners and then send the money. this way you arent past your cancellation point with your credit card if things go wrong.
otherwise i personally wouldnt buy anything from anyplace overseas unless it was a major company.
especially when you have many options in this country where we have some consumer controls. like with credit cards. and a smart buyer keeps control over the sale and the money until he is confident it s all good.

anton. get a u.s. distributor and watch things grow for you if you can maintain promised schedules, and prices are inline with the market.
and lastly you respond to buyers and stand behind your product. good luck.

We accept Paypal, I believe it's quite safe. But you are definitely right we do need a partner in the US. And we constantly looking for connections.

Baltimore City Cues this month will have some our Combi models available for sale.

Except of retail, there are a couple ways available for cooperation now.

- wholesale orders.
from 10 cues we can make good discounts. same wood, same ringwork, same joints, etc. all these facilitate lowering the final cost.

- cue blanks orders. retail and wholesale.
Lots of US cuemakers make top notch finish. We are happy to make custom blanks for them.
