Keith Hanssen custom full splice, Macassar Ebony points (I think) into a sweet BEM forearm. G-10 pin with Elk collars, dots, ferrules and buttcap. I got this cue second hand recently to try out both 3/8-10 G10 joint and elk materials. No metal in this cue; no weight bolt and the rubber bumper is permanent, weight is fixed. Cue rolls true together and apart. Shaft #2 is thinner and has a very minor rolloff but its imperceptible when rolling cue on table & plays perfect - just mentioning for full transparency.
I love the look, hit and balance, but the weight & butt profile is too slim for me (I like big butts, I cannot deny) so I'm passing this on. It's older and well used but not abused; butt has some minor pebbling in the finish, but no dings or scrapes - I'll say its a 7/10 condition - a simple refinish would bring it back to 10/10. Both shafts are pristine and really, really, really nice, seem to be from excellent quality maple and taper profile is awesome (for me at least), I almost decided to keep this cue for the shafts alone - I had them both reconditioned (but not taken down), and brand new tips installed. Note, the grey tones in the white stuff is the natural coloring of the elk, not dirt or damage. This is a really cool players cue, quite unique but humble - belongs in the hands of someone who prefers a lighter/slimmer cue.
Asking $600 including domestic shipping+ins (which is simply what I have into it). Paypal F&F, or add 3%, and most of the major e-pay apps accepted. Happy to answer any Q's in PM, etc. Thanks for looking.
