QUICK CLEAN TABLE CLEANER

Cutting no one just saying why invest money in vacuum system to do one or two tables, when brushes work❓

Maybe if you had commercial room with 10 or more tables the vaccume system would be cost saving measure. Plus be more effective then marginal help who does not see table or cloth cleaning as important job.

BTW how thick skin, and work on being inoffensive.

I stated my flipping opinion.🤣
Most people already have a vacuum that will work. Brushing just gets the top surface dust off, but where does it go? In the air or down the pocket holes to fall on the floor or get stuck to the ball-returns. If you look at Brunswick ball returns you'll see a layer of crud clinging to the wires:poop: Vacuuming and then wiping the table with a damp cloth is by far the best method to keep the table clean and in good condition. It takes a little extra time and elbow grease, but the results are worth it ❗ Doing it this way keeps the rail ball tracks and the white to a minimum. I did twelve tables for years using this system; nobody walked out with a blue hand and the cloth lasted a whole lot longer.

This is what it looks like for ONE table, brushing the cloth only to clean it, after only 1 year of play on it.
Those pictures say it best, carefully vacuum your table, do not brush the table. I use our slightly smaller shop vac on mine because it has a little less power than our big one, its a dedicated table vacuum for the mammoth cost of $59.00, . The attachment has a brush on it with approximately 1" long bristles, I would be lying if I told you it was horse hair, I have no idea what the bristles are made from but it works well. I vacuum my table whenever I can start to see chalk marks on it, probably about every 10 hours of play. I also clean out the ball box, there is always crap in there, not sure why but like clockwork there is always crap in it. I replaced the original cork with a rubber like material because the cork was starting to deteriorate in small pieces.

What method do they use to clean them? When you play does your hand get blue?

I know they have vaccume, and that is done 3 days a week. In between they use micro fibre gloves.

My hand are not Blueman Hands, I suspect man of the people using tables seldom chslk tips.

Then we have others who use too much chalk.

Your hands don't get blue because they vacuum the tables.

Or maybe I choose table because of location, and little play.🤥

I remember the day when at North Hollywood after you were playing a couple hours, owner stopped play to brunch off tables.

You don't brush worsted wool is why. All that does is move dirt around. Vacuum or an X-1(or both) is the way to go.

Well when I use to brush a table before I play on on it. I always first brushed today rails.

Then use rail brush to get debris from under rails.

Then did one final light brushing to finish surface. Never took more then 15 minutes.

People who over chalk make big messes.🤮

You got that right! Especially when they decide to chalk their cue directly over the cloth or rails, or with the cue straight up and down and their bridge hand just below the ferrule. I guess they have no idea that the excess chalk falls directly onto their hand or the table.
Then there's the jackass who slaps the cube face down onto the rail. :ROFLMAO:
It shouldn't bother me, but it is a bit of a pet peeve....

I remember several time the gentleman who ran & owned North Hollywood Billiards, throw out people who constantly use too much chalk. The tell was simple Blue all over cloth & rails.

First offense was lesson on how to use Chalk right, then you just got told pack up, and get out.

Why do some people put the chalk upside down on the rail???? Its like they need instruction on how to properly operate a cube of chalk.

I tried a short demo on how to chalk a cue on one of those dudes…it didn’t work, the next time he used the chalk he sat it upside down on the rail.

The brush has a good function of picking up cat hair without having to get out the vacuum. My cat has a habit of jumping up in the middle of the table and rolling around.

Duct tape on the roll turned inside out works like magic to pick up cat hair, and is funny as hell to watch when you stick a piece on your cats tail for getting on the table in the first place😅🤣😂that'll train them NOT to get on the table😇

No cover?

This is for rich yuppies with more money to spend, then common sense, because they have to be like Barbie, the b…. has everything.

Buy a good quality Brush, and Rail Brush, clean old school. You will be a better person for the effort of keeping tradition alive, plus BRUSHING WORK.

If you a pig you new cloth will look & be crap in a week because a Pool table is not also place to have a family celebration, or 1 year old birthday party.🤮
I use a Roomba, certainly don't consider myself a rich yuppy. It works great, I didn't buy it for the table, i owned the Roomba first!

Besides, who are the rich yuppies anyway? Roomba $400 (can find much cheaper). Custom cue, $2000 plus. Heck, I got a steal on my Gold Crown, but it was still a hell of a bigger expense than my Roomba!
