Del Ward was a famous, champion saddle maker who passed away in 2015. He made a total of 13 cue cases starting around 2009. Very reminiscent of what Chas Clements did with his cases. I have a few DWs in my collection and have decided to offer this one up for sale. Crazy nice Sheridan style tooling and stitching, with a basket weave pattern on the back. This was Del’s first cue case he made. 1x2 envelope style.
When Del’s cases came onto the scene it created quite a stir with us all on AZBilliards and definitely influenced guys like Rusty Melton, who was really just getting started making tooled leather cases at that time.
