New 9 ball cue

I’m just getting back into billiards after a long layoff.
When I last played I had a plain Jane 100 dollar huebler that served me well. I’m just a recreational 9 ball player but play tournaments when I can. I sold my huebler back in 2002 so I needed a new cue. I ordered a Viking B2001, 20 ounce with the standard v-pro shaft and Lepro medium tip. I will be using this as my workhorse recreational and tournament 9 ball cue. I bought because it reminded me of my huebler in its simplicity and cosmetics. Do you guys have any opinions on this cue. Please share. thanks

Here’s a link to the cue

The cue arrived at my house today. I specifically ordered the 20oz because that feels best to me. The price was right and it looks pretty much the same( natural stain, no inlays, no wrap) as my huebler. I haven’t had a chance to shoot with it yet because I don’t have a table. I have to rely on pool hallls for practice and competition. I can say that the build quality is excellent and the balance seems really good for a 220 dollar cue including a hard case. It’s definitely as well made as my circa 2000 model huebler. thanks

This subgroup has low traffic.

Your cue is no nonsense. I hope it works for you.

I know that I come to this site for the cue porn, seeing amazing art in a 29x1” dowel. For instance, the amazing butt sleeves by Samsara. As good as it gets, to me.

Your cue is all about making balls, which requires work and practice, and not posting on a forum.
