He’s a local biz man here in Houston and has been successful since I was a young kid. He bets Tons of money every year and promotes it. You buy $3,000 or more at his store and Cinci wins you get your money back or can choose a store credit. He offsets his losses and has fun with it.

He bets big every year but 4.5 is alot of damn money on what's probably going to be a tight game. A few bad ref calls or a good player gets covid and your screwed

Maybe the guy in furnature biz was looking for tax write off, as the bet could be an advertising expense.

A lot of this is pretty interesting from an accounting standpoint. He is making a business promotion that is a bet for one side and then he is betting his risk away by betting for the other side. This is hedging at it's finest. Now on top of just reduction of risk, the enormity of the bets give him free advertising. How much would he pay to get national exposure like this?
