Grudges and Grievances.

thats why im asking.
I don't think I've ever heard someone say "I don't like how this Mottey hits.". Maybe "this cue is too pretty to chalk", but that's the closest it gets. Paul really combines craftsmanship with playability on every cue I've seen leave his shop.

what makes his cue play differently/better than any other cue out there?

It's not so much "what makes it different" as he's consistent with every cue. Some makers are hit and miss....Paul it doesn't matter joint type, pin type, material, regardless they all hit lights out. Paul took pride in not only knowing someone was buying his cue, but that someone felt good shooting with it.

If you have to ask, you've never owned one

Paul's work was second to none, and all his cues played fantastic. He was great to deal with too. If you called his shop he picked up the phone, and you spoke directly to him. I owned several of his cues, and I kick myself in the ass for ever selling the last one I had.

I’ve never had a problem buying or selling a cue in my life-ever. Not once, probably just been lucky. I pick my spots.

Listing cues isn’t my thing, I don’t even have pics of 50% of them come to think of it. Hard to sell with no pics.

Sad to see friction on any biz dealings.

Seller has to be responsible and not misrepresent what he is selling. Buyer must be able to understand what he is buying. I’m not interested in selling cues to beginners. Like I said I pick my spots. And am clear with the condition & dimensions & history of the cue.

The seller has more work to do than the buyer imo. But buyers should be educated before hand. Not seeking a education from the seller who in some cases is biased, greedy or can’t find the truth in life.

I’ve sold cues for more than they are worth, and told the buyer that. I’ve over paid for cues, made bad trades. Made great trades and told the seller I’m getting way the best of it. I’ve never been afraid of the truth. And it’s never knocked my deals.

Fear creates liars on both sides. Then the problems follow. I’m not interested in that ever.

That’s how I roll.

Best
Fatboy<———still looking for that 59¢ please……anyone?

I don’t like how sometimes when I’m running balls on an open table, and I should get out but I miss, then the person I’m playing comes up to the table and completes the run as if I hadn’t been the one that’s supposed to win since I did the hard work in the beginning.

Like who do you think you are buddy? Don’t you know I wouldn’t have missed normally? There’s some real a-holes in the world.
Right?!? Like in 9B or 10B, you make all of the other balls and miss the money ball, dude walks up to the table shoots in one ball and wins. That aint right.
