Deano

Think post number three was reason this turned intoWar.
Yes.

Question: Where did Deano go?

Answer:. Scam artist outed over Jackpot cues and goes away.

That's not a war....that's question, and response. The war comes up because morons like you can't comprehend that, "Even though he didn't screw me, does not mean he didn't screw others."

You silly fool……did you even notice the custom cues in my signature? Do you have any notion
about the value of my TS or EP cues? And you really believe I’d sacrifice my integrity for a free
inexpensive Jackpot cue? I spent more on the joint protectors Bob Owen made for my last cue
than what Jackpot cues sold for. I walk the talk and talk the walk when it comes to pool cues or
defending people, and friends, from harassment. But since Dean doesn’t participate in this Forum
any longer, he does not require being defended here. I just want the record to show Dean’s my pal.
What's your take on defending folks that got scammed by pool cue sellers? Do they get any of you ardent protectionism.

Defending folks that rip other folks off because they are your friend, is not being loyal, it's called being an accomplice.

And yes, you can play with all the ivory cues you want, it does mean you didn't sell out your integrity. What a foolish thing to do.

Dean must be a great pal, he left the forums in disgrace and letting you take the flack he should be taking.

With friends like that, who needs enemies ;)

Hey now, hey now, hey now! Tackling Dean's blatant fraud and thievery is one thing. To insult someone as far as to call them Bava's friend though? That crosses WAY too many lines. Even I wouldn't go as far as to tarnish someone's reputation that much.

As Wild Bill Hickok was known to say to a nemesis……Go Buck a Fuffalo……it would do ya some good.

I had never seen those pictures before. The ferrules being so different is crazy.
Notice that the hole for the joint pin isn't even chamfered! And that the shaftwood is of the lowest quality imaginable (almost). I have seen worse in my 40 dollar McDermott Lucky cue, that fell apart the first day (internal glue joints failed), but apart from that, I don't think I've seem much worse that this. Even this piece of sh... McDermott had a chamfered hole for the joint pin. The only thing worse about the shaftwood is the insane grain runout and sugar marks, the growth ring number seems about the same as these cues. Can you imagine, the shittiest cue ever made (IMO) even managed to one-up the workmanship on these cues. Not only that, but that shaft has stayed straight after being thrown in a closet leaning against a wall for 5 years!

Yup, what a great friend you are keeping this thread at the top some more and more folks get to read about Dean the Scammer.

Now, just for you, I will post something to bring this to the top every day for the rest of the year. You're welcome.

Regardless, he was needlessly persecuted and he finally called it quits. He gave me a
Jackpot cue as his goodbye present and said he was done with this joint.
haha. Even you would not pay for a Jackpot cue and only took it because it was free. Nice ;)
Would you like to sell it? $600 ? I heard it's a bargain.

I’d like one myself. If not from the man, the myth, the legend...dean-oc, then from a customer who’s ready to part ways with their jackpot.

Not the one in the picture above though. I want one with a track record of structural integrity and reliability. One that hits a ton. A British long ton too, not the metric tonne or the laughably weak American ton no...I want the real deal.

Who’s got one? I got a quarter k ready to go

Hey now! I'll bid fiddy cents on it. I also promise that once I hate how it hits, I'll take a poll for how to destroy the cue and record it :)

There's some member, 'buyit', signing off as deanoc. is it him or just some joker stirring the pot?

You will be a window shoppa, lookin at shiit you can't buy.

You will be a window shoppa, down at the pool hall trying to get a test drive.

Curtis Jackson, aka, Fiddy Cent.

Buy a 100buck Schmelke and you'll know.
And I do love my $100 Schmelke. I use it only for tourneys. Nobody is going to steal it, and it plays great. Even had glue marks on the butt when I dropped on a concrete floor, still plays great. It's not a $600 cue, but if I did lose this one, I would pay $600 to get it back, glue marks and all ;)

I ordered a sneaky a couple yrs back. Played ok but BOTH shafts warped(not a lot but still) in less than 2yrs. Wasn't impressed. I'd buy a Chinese Players or a J&J instead. They stay straight FOREVER.

With a $100 Schmelke, if something is not right, it has a warranty.

Original owner Jackpots are second hand cues before they ever hit a ball.
1yr. I was just outside that when first shaft warped. They said tuff luck. I had a Players sneaky for over 7yrs when i sold it. Still dead straight.
