Transfer decal?

I'm looking for recommendations on someone who makes small thin transfer decals I can use as a logo on shafts.

The one's I've found where either to thick, big or where basically a clear sticker. I want just the letters to stay

Perhaps I'm not calling them by the right name and that's why I can't find any online dealers

Gallery Graphics, Bob Rumer does dry transfers. I find them superior to the slide on decals. If you want the slide on you can buy the paper and print them yourself.

At a previous job years ago we installed decals on gas tank trucks/trailers and those had a semi clear paper backing. You could use soap/water and put them on and adjust where you wanted, then let dry and peel the paper off and the letters stayed.
Your guy sounds more like what I'm after

For anyone that don't know, you can buy the water slide paper and print them yourself at home. Maybe it's the paper I got but I have to give the decals a quick acrilic spray to keep the letters clean and clear.

Still in search of a transfer decal though

that is normal as per the instructions that should come with the paper.
