Predator BK III Weight Bolt Removal

I tried the DIY remedy to remove the weight bolt from my BK III break cue. Regardless of how much pressure is applied - The bolt is frozen tight.

Rather than spend extra $$$ for a Predator bolt remover (which may not work) or send it away for repair - I’m looking for someone local (Oakland Cty) who can help.

Let me know and I’ll DM you - I’m positive that removing the bolt will make my breaks more productive.

In a pinch you can use 2 smaller phillips screwdrivers. I insert into each hole, hold the tops together and use a another screwdriver between them like a T to break free.

Thanks - I used 2 hex keys (sung fit) and some pliers. It definitely felt like it had been glued in, and I was concerned the too much pressure would break the cue. I might just drive out to Coldwster MI and let a Seybert tech look at it.

Great idea. The only way it should have been that tight would be if it was locked against another weight bolt.
If you decide to do it yourself and put one back in, be careful not to over tighten against the bottom. You could force the black cylinder out.
