Simonis Cloth Issue?

I had Simonis 860HR installed professionally with my GC3 purchase.
The cloth has a funny set of “ripple” lines / tracks running in it every half inch like it was the beginning or end of the roll on the machine.
It appears to affect the roll as balls slow and try to find their position in the subtle grooves.
Has anyone else seen this?
I don’t want to be the guy who bitches if it’s normal but I have strong players come over (6-7’s in their league) who have been playing competitively for decades and they say to a man they’ve never seen it before.
Tough to see in a picture and when I try to take one it says the file is too big anyway.

I heard @realkingcobra may not be around anymore but if anyone knows it’s him for sure!
RKC is around and approachable. PM, email or call and he'll most likely have an answer. My original cloth was "Professionally" installed. The cloth was loose and had shadows. It was so bad it got trashed and replaced by a competent installer. You are permitted to bitch about the job. Welcome to the club.

I’m betting the cloth wasn’t stretched enough.

Reduce the picture and it'll post. I have an iPhone. I email the picture to myself and reduce it when it asks for the size. I can then post it.

May be hard to see

Can you get the cloth to move pushing on it with your fingers? Did the installer measure and draw lines to stretch the cloth to?
What did the installer say when you pointed it out to them? This is unacceptable in any situation and should be rectified by the installer.

Me too. 860HR I haven’t had mine changed out yet, but I don’t think the installers stretched it right and the balls roll a little slow. It’s ok, but I have to adjust for speed at the hall where the balls roll a little faster.

Didn’t you check it before they left? That seems like an obvious defect you’d notice at time of install. don’t pay anything but a deposit until the job is finished and check it before you even up. Especially with $400 cloth. That’s a big expense once a year.

Once a year? On a home table? WTH?

Well it’s been on table since last august and I’ll probably have it changed over the summer. Table gets at least 10 hours a week on it now and probably will get about 30 a week come summer. But it is in a detached garage. So a lot of temp changes and humidity. I’m not loaded or anything. It takes some saving to get it done. I don’t like the marks on it.

Why is there not a simple function on the basic photo viewing/editing software that let's you reduce the size? This doesn't seem to be an exotic demand. Good job on the workaround. Somedays it feels like the computer industry is outsourcing their jobs to us.
