A whole slew of U.S. companies put their name on these tables, but nearly all are made somewhere in Asia. I wouldn’t worry too much about finding a brand name.

One of the major problems playing on these tables is that the balls react too slowly off the rails; so whenever you need to move the cue ball some distance the speed of the shot causes a properly struck object ball to bounce like a pin ball game back and forth across the pocket facings. This is most apparent when you are cutting a ball down a rail and trying to move the cue ball to the opposite side of the table. Even using a fast cloth will not compensate for the pocket rattle and the slower rails.

Look, if you just want to use the table for recreational play without worrying about competition it would be OK just for that purpose. if you intend to transfer your practice on this table to competition in a room with Diamond or faster Brunswick tables it will hurt your game.

Thanks just trying to restore and find new pockets for it I’m guessing just standard pockets from Amazon will work
Looks like a cheap unbranded import table. Tons of them out there. Nothing special.
Cheap pockets from Amazon should work fine.

I will also be replacing the felt and the bumpers any suggestions would be great thank you
Likely K66 cushions. I always recommend MBS.
For cloth, I would recommend Championship - Mercury Ultra.
If you don't like the limited color selection of the Mercury Ultra, you could try Championship - Invitational... However, I might prefer ProLine - Match 202.

If you are hiring someone to do the work, you should source your materials from them.

Yes! And incorrect pocket facing angles compound this problem.

the table is a cheap import but fun to play on. but certainly not worth spending any more money on updating it. use as it or sell it and get a nice table for what you will spend on it and upgrading.

you know about putting lipstick on a pig.

Thanks for the input but looks like this pig is going to prom it’s what I have and needs new felt anyway not a pro or full time player just something we added to pass the time during halftime of football games and it’s what was in the budget at this time

For the purists, this table won't do. Though, for your purposes, this table will be just fine.
I've updated quite a number of similar tables, for many satisfied clients.

You are good to go with this table for just knocking around with friends- it will do just fine in that environment- Enjoy it!!
