I think diamond would probably sell a 4 " pocket table to anyone that wanted one already. I know 4 1/8 is definitely available. Will 4 inches pocket be the future of US pool, bar box and big table?

New players can choose to play in a easier table, good players can't find smaller pockets almost anywhere. You need to work on polls. Those are all yes/no questions with no ability to answer. Word your choices as statements and let people choose their option, i.e.,
- I'm for 4" pockets.
- I think 4" pockets are a gimmick that will discourage new players.
- I like 5 1/2" buckets.
I was making up sample poll choices...New players can choose to play in a easier table, good players can't find smaller pockets almost anywhere.
Thanks broI was making up sample poll
Why? What's so attractive about 4" pockets?I think 4.5" are too easy for any level pro and top amateurs, once you try 4" you will love it![]()

High level players, make up an extremely small percentage of pool players.I assure you that almost all good players wanted to play in smaller pockets, the harder the challenge the sweeter it gets!!!!
By high level I say any +600 Fargo, not a small percentage at all.High level players, make up an extremely small percentage of pool players.
So the answer to your question remains, no.

Most likely not…. However nothing stays the same anymore. Tradition had died. Will 4 inches pocket be the future of US pool, bar box and big table?
I would still lip out a 3 foot putt…Golf never has this discussion. The hole is always 4.25". I personally would like a 6" hole but that's never going to happen.
Golf courses are differentiated by their wideness/narrowness, flatness/undulations, roughness/smoothness, trees/not trees, and many other things that I won't ramble on about.Golf never has this discussion. The hole is always 4.25". I personally would like a 6" hole but that's never going to happen. Should it be smaller for PGA players?
