Can't remember what I have posted but since center ball is in my whatever it's called. Maybe motto. Flash back to "Balls to the Walls" motto got me a cdb.
I get my best results when I can focus on the path my tip takes through the ball and the relatively of same to the center ball. In baseball I was taught to seek the aspirin tablet in the center. Pool balls are smaller so I visualize the shot and determine what the cue ball needs to do and if I calculate my odds to be good. Then plant a BB adjacent to the center where the computer says the tip should travel. I always go through the options start center then go up down..... still no go? Investigation of side starting mild. Perhaps frog option comes as soon as side option involves the big hanging curve.
My last defeat in Nationals was by a guy that hit a hybrid jump/massee. No shame losing to him.
What works best for me is focus on the entry of the surgical device (cue) at the precise designated bb then taking the shortest route to the previous implant near center or wherever the Game or Flame plan has taken me. It gives me results that I find gratifying.
