I think any room owner would jump at the chance to have him come play for a couple days. Most local businesses owners know each other so finding a hotel owner to donate/ discount rooms for him and crew wouldn’t be to hard. As for a front man ahead of the player doing promoting and advertising he could easily do all that from home on the phone/internet via social media and most effectively through local pool league operators sending fliers with the paperwork. You could raffle off tickets and draw a half dozen to see who gets to play him a short race in front of everyone. Maybe 25$ get you in for the day with a raffle ticket and for 50$ a picture, autograph and video of his run also. While I’m pretending, have Diamond and taom as sponsors to travel with him and set up a table for him to play on. There are moose,Kc,eagles,VFW,elks lodge clubs all over this country that are sitting empty that could possibly donate space for the production.

He could charge admission and split w the house and sell his high run video, merchandise, memorabilia, pictures….
Have local businesses donate money for the pot that he could shoot the local top shooter for.

String the events between the tournament schedule that he’s playing in would be the most logical since he’s already traveling there anyway. Why not promote yourself and the game in between events.

I wouldn't even bother discussing it with him. He knows his original assessment is wrong but he'll refuse to admit and do nothing but make snide comments and redirect.

(Of course, now that his MO is in the open he'll change his tune)

In yesteryear it was a totally different ball of wax when it came to pool — what was done 60 years ago is not going to work nowadays when it comes to pool.

If that’s the case then just think of the amount that could sell if they delivered it with a live show!

I’d go see old eagle eye shoot balls all day if he came to town. And pay to see it. Wouldn’t you?
