Thanks for the reply...the Jacoby Black is a pro taper... I'm looking for a carbon fiber with a straight taper or conical taper also known as a European taper... there are carom carbon fiber cues that are conical, but they tend to be shorter than an american pool shaftI checked my becue prime 12.0mm. The diameter rises pretty quickly. The Jacoby Black is your best bet. The taper is 19”.

thanks!Tiger might be the one to ask. Their smaller tipped shaft might be the taper you are looking for.
I do not know who is making their own carbon shafts and not working with a blank made elsewhere. I know a friend gets his wood shafts from Jacoby in your exact specs. 12.0mm with a European taper.

the one Hex i've seen had pretty much a pro-taper. Maybe a tad longer but close.Jeff Prather makes a Hex shaft that looks to be a straight taper. It is a 12.4mm.
Any luck , I’m looking for a conical carbon shaft as well ?????really would like to try a carbon fiber shaft with a straight taper in the 12mm range? I see some modified straight tapers.... perhaps that's all there is...
thanks!
Maybe in wood but not CF. You could make a 11mm shaft as stiff as hell with cf. If the op wants straight taper he needs to look at carom shafts. Rhino has their's on sale for 169.I think a 12mm and straight is going to be very floppy, LD is probbly out the door with that much flop. Most shafts that small have a conical taper.
Just got the Ryno Carbon Conical 28” shaft in this morning….. this thing is 12mm for a few inches then up to 21.5mm , it hits so solid , no whipping!!!! It’s absolutely perfect on my Cuetec Truewood with my 4” Smart Extension… My total cue weight is 19.7 ITS ON NOWMaybe in wood but not CF. You could make a 11mm shaft as stiff as hell with cf. If the op wants straight taper he needs to look at carom shafts. Rhino has their's on sale for 169.
