Chalk color vs cloth color

My organization just got a new table with Simonis gold cloth. All the cues here have blue chalk on them which was fine for the old table.

What should we do before using the cues on the gold cloth? I assume we should clean them, but how? And how important is it? The table installer said the blue would cause permanent stains.

Thanks

Why did you/they buy gold cloth?????

Gently wipe the blue tips off…. Use tan or gold chalk and play pool. Done. No worries …. Welcome aboard.

Could be a clubhouse or community room where it’s fashion over function. Maybe a donated cloth. Most likely a fuzzy not Simonis.
My neighbor has a bumper table with a tan cloth. He uses blue chalk. Cloth is filthy. Im speechless.
