Bert Kinister Videos now on YouTube

Wow. 20 years ago I could not afford the prices asked for the VHS materials, only heard of Bert. Later seen some extracts of his work, using some youngster who I later got to know as Niels Feijen (and I blame Kinister for his very pronounced long pause at the backswing :D)

Some of Bert's videos are better than others. Seemed like he just decided it was time to crank out another video sometimes. However, some of his videos are as valuable as about anybody's and better than most.

If I even thought I wanted to get a little instruction I'd be glued to youtube until my eyes bled! Overall Bert's videos are a good value at full price. If he has dumped everything for free it wouldn't be unreasonable for those that benefit to send a little jelly his way.

Looks like he posted his whole teaching library on YouTube for free:

Really awesome! My favorite quote:

Some pool players are predators and some are warriors. Ya know the difference between a predator and a warrior is a predator hunts food ya know and a warrior hunts men. Be a warrior. Whatever happens don't be the food. Don't be the food. Be a predator and be a warrior, don't be dinner kids.

He was planning on releasing like 5 videos a week or something like that. It will probably take him a couple years to get all his content out. Great stuff!!!

I liked Bert's stuff and bought a bunch of his tapes back in the day.

I actually met him once at the 2000 US One Pocket Open up in Kalamazoo. In the second round I had to play Efren and actually won a couple of games in a race to four. Bert came up to me afterwards and said, "You played really good." That wasn't quite as good as taking two games off Efren but still felt pretty good coming from Bert.
