Yep...do not METH around. Drugs are for sick people. But I got punked once..... someone asked me if wanted to go to pot party....they wanted to bring some DOPE.... I'm speechless.

And did those people you showed it to know what a large pin 3/8 x 10 screw should feel like if it's a good fit? Really without someone looking at the cue there is no way to know if it's normal or not. The pin may have been changed to a lighter metal one but that is not really likely vs just removing or changing the weight bolt. You said you only had it a few days, are you sure it's not as easy to put on as when you first had it or maybe you just don't remember how it was?
