My buddy is waiting for delivery of a Professional. His delivery/set up date was changed 3 times. Not sure if the table is not ready or built waiting to be shipped. Is this typical right now … is getting a Diamond a scramble?

Supplies of everything are still backed up. I'm sure things in all industries are going to priority customers.
He had a commitment for delivery. Changed 3 X. The table is done or it’s not done. It’s been shipped or it’s waiting to go out. Can’t get a solid answer.

if you have put up any money for a deposit you are automatically a priority customer.
and they should be able and willing to give completion and progress dates if possible even if only an approximate one.
and if cant do it on time explain why.

I have a gold crown three 9 ft at my brother's house right now. It's partially assembled and we can't get enough time off of work to finish it. We work at the same place. Now that is frustrating!

Diamonds are fully paid full before shipment. This is paid in full meaning it’s ready to go the the customer.

then its simple to tell the customer that so he is relieved that his table will arrive soon.
keeping customers in the dark on delays does nothing but hurt the company's reputation in the minds of customers.
its a good company and doing that doesnt cost them anything and only helps.

The table may be finished and ready to go, but the truck its leaving on may not be fully loaded yet, and that can cause delays right there.
The issue is he was scheduled for a delivery...Last Sat..this Sat and it changed again. I can appreciate it's waiting to be loaded...but the owner would like a solid answer. Thanks for the reply. Will follow up.

We only paid a deposit when ordering our Profesional. Paid the ballance after the dealer finished his so called professional setup

Here’s the scoop. Table is in the que … looking at mid Oct. Supply issue. They simply could have said that to begin with.. but now he has an answer. Disappointed but that’s the way it goes. If the table was not ready...not going out the door the balance should not have been asked for.

Industry has done far worse than selective distribution. There must be many businesses in line for multiple tables.

Apologies for slight thread hijack, but a question for any recent Diamond table customers - has retail pricing increased significantly vs last few years? I ask because I heard there was going to be a significant price increase in 2Q/2022, but a guy mentioned in some other thread on here recently that his price was roughly $9k for a ProAm which was pretty much what they have been for a while.

Thx in advance. ✌️

Diamonds last price increase was January 2021.

I don't mind the wait but the tease is unbearable.

My table delivery date got pushed out a couple of times. These Diamond mechanics travel ALOT especially if you live in a state that is not a big regional hub for them like my state. I could have bought locally but the only dealer in my state sucks and I wouldn't trust them to do even a re-cloth. Logistically it may take some time to get to final destination. For the rail swap I had done I had to wait a few weeks after the rails were ready. My lead mechanic was going to a bunch of different places at the time. I know it sucks to wait but honestly if the mechanic is solid directly thru diamond I would much rather prefer waiting. It was well worth the wait in my experience. Just my .02.

My son is waiting for a new Diamond for a house that he just built.
Original date for delivery was 7/15.
Looks like it will be an August delivery as the the distributor/mechanic is waiting for the 3 piece slate.
It will get there when it gets there.
The time will go quickly, too quickly.
No sense fretting.

Exactly!
The table is the table.
No substitute for a good mechanic that will make the table play like the table should.
These Diamond dealer/mechanics are busy busy busy.
Waiting for the right mechanic to do the install will be money in your pocket.

That’s what’s happening here. He’s using Matt also. Be happy if August works out. Is the balance paid?
