Jayson Shaw in the Hunt for Another 14.1 Record

20 racks under his belt. He got out of two tight jams:

1 He had to back cut the 7 ball sitting in the rack area into the top right corner pocket. That was his only unobstructed shot. (see rack count on scoreboard = 18)
2. Shortly thereafter, he snookered himself behind the 9-ball near the right long rail about rack high. As he cussed himself out, he looked over the table for a good five minutes, then hit a combo billiards into the 1-ball which dropped into the lower left corner pocket. What a shot! (see rack count on scoreboard = 19)

He has looked a bit lackadaisical to me at times this week, but not now. 30 racks down.

Missed an OB frozen to the rail very, very, very close to the side pocket (almost on the tit), which he tried to hit into the bottom left corner pocket, but it drifted wide.

Jason: Five minute break, then rack 'em up. There's still plenty in the tank. That was just a warm up.

Bobby: Not one time after a run started this week has Jason cleaned the CB or any other balls.

Me: Not one time this week has Bobby racked the balls high so that Jayson would have a shot at a break ball hidden behind the rack. 🔧
