Is there anyway to distinguish a Rambow from one of Petersons copies?
Does anyone know they have a "Rambow" made by Peterson?

I have never seen a Peterson Rambow style cue for sale. I would like to aquire one someday and want to make sure there are atleast a few people whom could authenticate it.

So if I start buying up every Rambow I can find with a Letter of Authenticity is there much of a chance that one might be made by Peterson or are the differences so obvious that most cue appraisers would know the difference.

Additionally do we know enough about Petersons Rambow builds to definitively attribute a cue to him? And who is the keeper of all of this knowledge? I would buy a book of the subject if it existed.

Hi All
I have a cue that may be a Rambow but is unsigned. I have read that Craig Peterson has made "Rambow" cues.
How can I tell the difference?

JOE @ CLASSIC CUES
SEAN @ CUEADDICTS

Here are a few pictures of the cue. I have played with this cue, has great balance and it hits great. Solid

I have a cue that may be a Rambow or it could be a Craig Peterson.

cant tell from that cue but does look like one. but a few made good copies for players.
i personally used to buy old house cues in the 1960's and have gene balner make me ones that look like that and very similar. then sell them as palmer or paradise cues depending on where gene was doing his thing.
a very similar one came out in his 4th catalog like some of the ones i had him make and it sold very well.

so being old doesnt qualify as a particular cue but only helps put it in its genre.

This is a Rambow style cue built by Petersen.
