MSM point to secret Pool Room

Cool. I liked the part about Jayson Shaw was discussing his monster run, shot at this club:
“I was just playing off determination and wasn’t really thinking too much,” Shaw said.

He had been shooting pool for several days straight, and eventually Shaw said he just couldn’t miss.

“It was wild,” he said. “I had blisters all over my hands.”

I assume you’re paying table time in addition to the monthly membership fee.

Regardless of the cost, I can see where it would be attractive in an area without a lot of other quality options.

Probably the biggest drawback for me would probably be having to “schedule“ a table. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten to play pool with a thought that I’m going to play for two hours from 4 PM to 6 PM exactly…

If this is truly a Pro's room they wouldn't let either of us in. I would be willing to pay and schedule if I knew the odds were good that I might have a Jayson Shaw, etc., at the next table.
 
I was there once back in March for the party celebrating Jayson's record (my profile pic was taken at the party when he and I played scotch doubles for an hour). It's a very cool place with no frills except for the tables which are all top notch.

It is my understanding that there are different levels of membership. If you are a member, you don't pay table time but there are certain times of the day/night that you can have access. The higher the level the more access you have. I had quite a bit to drink that night so the details are a bit fuzzy. lol

Bottom line, if you are in the area and know someone, make it a point to go.
