GC IV Pocket angle correction ?

I have a problem with your statement “properly installed”. I just measured a few GC’s at Starcade billiards. They measured 146 degrees. There’s no amount of installation that will fix that. Not sure what the newer GC angles are.

I'm guessing he might have meant "properly modified/repaired/fixed"?

From the photos, it looks like those tables are Gold Crown III's. That said, I would guess that the cushions have been replaced at some point. At that time, I would also guess that the installer cut the new rubber by hand, and opened the angles (which is not at all uncommon, when done by hand). Otherwise, it's possible that the cloth has been pulled too tight over the corners, and widened the angle.

From factory, the angles should be pretty close to 141-142.
