I'm not a cue maker, but I count 7 threads in 1/2 an inch, 7x2=14, so its a 5/16-14. CheersSadly I don't recall who made it, got a bunch of cues 15 years ago and this one was just discovered when I went spring cleaning and this one does not have a shaft. Ruler unit of measure is in inches
Got to the same conclusion, As I am ordering a shaft which would travel from the US to Asia, it pays to be sure...I'm not a cue maker, but I count 7 threads in 1/2 an inch, 7x2=14, so its a 5/16-14. Cheers
I'm guessing it's a Mali from the 70's the steel joint tells the history, So i'm going with a 5/16-18 However if you are buying a shaft online, take it to a repair man and have him size it before you buyPlanning to buy a shaft for this cue, sadly I do not recall the pin config as this was purchased over 10 years ago.
Guessing it is 5x16 x 14 or 18
Are there threads below the steel joint collar I'm sure there are because those threads are too narrow to be only the threads showing on your tapeSadly I don't recall who made it, got a bunch of cues 15 years ago and this one was just discovered when I went spring cleaning and this one does not have a shaft. Ruler unit of measure is in inches
Show us the whole cue
I wasn’t aware that this was a competition. I think thats just sort of how it works brother, chill.Let's see what the cue repair guy says, i can accept being wrong , can you big guy?
Go to a hardware store and buy common thread size nuts, I did it years ago.Planning to buy a shaft for this cue, sadly I do not recall the pin config as this was purchased over 10 years ago.
Guessing it is 5x16 x 14 or 18
