Yes, mine is a 1972-1980 era tulipwood JW and the points are rounded.Has anybody else seen a JW with a sideways W have rounded points?
So strange. ThanksYes, mine is a 1972-1980 era tulipwood JW and the points are rounded.
Wasn't the norm though, correct?Late 70s he started experimenting with a pantograph for pockets
Not the norm yet, became the norm in the 80sWasn't the norm though, correct?
And how would these be valued vs traditional points? Thanks
I also have one with sharp points which is the only cue w/no butt sleeve he ever did; I will take and post some pictures of these tomorrow. All his Tulsa era stuff(74-78) had sharp points. After he moved to Colo. and later in Austin he was doing a lot of CNC based work. I've never seen a round point sideways W in person.
